Solidarity and Rights Protection
The MTWTU continues to show solidarity with HIV-positive transport workers and remains committed to addressing this global challenge. Only by protecting the rights of every individual can we safeguard the fundamental values of health and human dignity.
The MTWTU places great importance on the health of maritime transport workers, organising educational activities and cooperating with international partners. The Union implements preventive measures and provides anonymous voluntary HIV testing for workers, while also actively cooperating with the ILO, which enables high-quality and effective prevention efforts.
