A meeting of the Maritime Section of the European Transport Workers' Federation (ETF) was held.

Oleg Grygoriuk, Chairman of the Marine Transport Workers' Trade Union of Ukraine, Vice President of the International Federation of Shipmasters' Associations (IFSMA), and Goodwill Ambassador of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) was elected to the Steering Committee of the Maritime Section of the ETF.

The work of the Maritime Section is aimed at creating a reasonable and sustainable working environment in the shipping sector, as well as protecting the rights of seafarers working on the vessels of European shipowners.
