Due to the emergency situation as a result of the rapid spread of the coronavirus, Ukraine, like many other workforce providers to the international maritime labor market, has closed its borders.

These measures have been introduced in order to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, however, they impede the timely replacement of the ship crews as well as a range of other inconveniences.

In connection with the above, the Marine Transport Workers’ Trade Union of Ukraine adopted a number of decisions that can be found in the attachment to this post.
